West Jakarta Residents Appreciate Free Driving Training

The free first batch SIM A driving license training for 2025 held by the West Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency was appreciated by the participants.

One of the residents, Nur Fauzi admitted happy to participate the training after participating selection in August.

"I passed the selection process. This is an opportunity I didn't waste, and I would like to express my gratitude to the Sub-agency for giving me this opportunity," he admitted, Monday (9/8).

Meanwhile, Head of West Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy, Jackson D Sitorus, said the training participated by 80 people will be held in 12 days.

"This activity targets unemployed participants. It is hoped that this will reduce unemployment in the Jakarta area, particularly West Jakarta," he said.

Not only getting the SIM A driving license, he added, but the training aims to develop basic skills for residents in driving four-wheeled vehicles so that they can be independent workers or have the opportunity to start their own businesses.

"We hope that they have the knowledge to drive correctly and in accordance with the provisions which will be proven not only by having a driving license but also by having a certificate," he stated.
